Responsibilities

a) The Software Support Executive will be station at customer site at Kepong, KL.
b) The Software Support Executive will work closely with customer (IT Department, Marketing Department and other related parties) on the following:

  • To provide 1st level and 2nd level IT support services to customer using mobile applications, web applications, various of Customer & Loyalty applications and related IT infrastructure (across a range of enterprise environments).
  • To perform service and data interface monitoring.
  • To perform data uploading from internal/external source.
  • To prepare data (compile, collate, cut and paste, etc.) on the information extracted from database as requested by the customer from time to time.
  • To query and retrieve information from various databases as required by the customer from time to time. This may require the writing of SQL scripts.
  • To perform sanity testing on any changes and patching activities.
  • To carry out additional tasks as and when instructed by the Manager.

c) Report to the IT Manager.

  • Provide tasks update to the manager.
  • Accountable for the on-schedule deliverables of task assigned covering.
  • Knowledge sharing (of theoretical and practical)

Requirement

a) Working Experience and Skills
Candidate to have the following:

  • Minimum 1 year working experience in supporting software applications or programmer experience.
  • Basic knowledge of MS SQL Database, SQL Lite, Reporting tools etc.
  • Additionally, candidate who has scripting experience is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and facility with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas and formatting)
  • Good customer engagement, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

The IT Support Executive will provide 1st level and 2nd level IT support services to customer using handheld computers, handheld applications, desktop computers and desktop applications, etc. The support may be provided on-site or remotely. Level 1 support services involve providing solution over the phone as well as email. Level 2 support services require onsite support as well as further investigation into the cause of the problem (root cause).
